| Millstream
Falls is located at the Atherton Tablelands near
Ravenshoe, the fall is Australias widest fall. On the waterfall circuit you can also find Millaa Millaa Falls, Zillie Falls and Elinja Falls, some other falls in the area; Mungalli Falls roadside cascade, Pepina Falls, and the Barron Falls near Kuranda. |
| The Atherton Tablelands can be reached easy from Cairns exit Innisfail (south) or Smithfield (north). |
| Jourama
Falls can be found south of Ingham, Murray
Falls near Cardwell, Cedar Creek Falls near Airlie Beach, but the fall has very less waterflow in April 1997. |
| Kondalilla
Falls can be found in the Blackall Range north
of Brisbane at Nambour, this is also a National Park, the main fall is about 80 meters high, the upper fall at the pool only a few meters. Nearby Mapleton Falls National Park has a disappointed (view of the) waterfall, you can only see the upper part of the waterfall from a viewing platform, but the view of the landscape is great. |
| Simpson
Falls and JC Slaughter Falls are
located in the Mt.Coot-tha Reserve, just a few kilometers southwest of downtown Brisbane, with superb views of the city. |
| Cedar
Creek Falls and Curtis Falls can
be found in the Mount Tambourine Nationalpark south of Brisbane, in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Another short trail in the area leads to the brink of Witches Falls. |
