| SALZBURG | GROSSGLOCKNER AREA |
| The
GROSSGLOCKNER area in SALZBURG is between BRUCK and FERLEITEN. The falls below can be found along this road. I shot the pictures in July/August 2001. The pictures of the WALCHER and SULZBACH waterfall have been shot in August 2002. The picture below shows the GROSSGLOCKNER road from the highest point HOCHTOR. |

| The SCHLEIER waterfall (left
picture) can be found immediately after the toll station
to the GROSSGLOCKNER. The fall is located roadside, height is about 30 meters (90 ft.). |

| The
WALCHER waterfall is a huge
cascade with several 100 meters, total about 500 meters. On the picture right above is the view from the GROSSGLOCKNER road, but if you want to see the main falls from a closer view you have to hike up the mountain. Return Trip is about 3 to 4 hours. There a three major falls on the trail with heights from 50 to 100 meters. The trailhead starts at the big parking area before the toll station. Just follow the road to the fall. |

above right and left below the second fall with a visible height of about 100 meters, right below is the third fall, about 100 meters. |

| The
HIRZBACH falls can be found
in FUSCH, there is a sign
to the falls in the middle of the village at the main road, from the small parking area both falls can be reached in 1 hour, the lower fall (left picture) is only minutes away, the upper fall (right picture) can be reached in about 15 to 20 minutes from the lower fall. The visible height of both falls is about 20 meters. |

| The SULZBACH waterfall can be
reached also from FUSCH just follow the
trail to the SULZ- BACHTAL, after 15 minutes you will see the sign to the waterfall, its a short hike from here to the falls overlook (wooden fence). The waterfall is about 40 to 50 meters high. |
