Heris Serrano
ISBN:0-7434-3552-4, $18.00
Trade (December 2000)
enthält:
Hunting Party, Sporting Chance, Winning Colors
Dicker Schinken

The last book in the Serrano Legacy
ISBN:0-671-31961-2, $24.00
Hardcover (December 2000)
ISBN:0-671-31850-0, $7.99
Paperback (November 2001)
Heris Serrano has a cruiser--but it's not hers. Somebody else has
hers, and
her former crew aren't entirely happy. Esmay Suiza has a dizzying fall from
Fleet grace, but nothing keeps her down forever. The Terakian cousins tangle
themselves in interstellar politics yet again, all because Basil thinks Goonar
needs a wife. Brun Meager's wicked uncle Harlis makes the mistake of thinking
money can buy the loyalty of those who have none to sell, and Barin Serrano
discovers the hidden costs of courage. But heroes have a way of pulling the fat
out of the fire one more time, against all odds.

Paperback (December 2000)
Just when Esmay Suiza thought everything was fine--Brun safely home and her
friend, Barin free to marry--someone assassinated the Speaker of the Grand
Council, Brun's father, plunging the Familias Regnant into political turmoil. As
of that weren't enough, Regular Space Service regulations for officers
considering marriage prohibit anyone from marrying a Landbride of Altiplano. And
this is before the Benignity of the Compassionate Hand decides to send an
assassin of their own....

of Engagement
ISBN:0-671-57777-8, $22.00
Hardcover (December 1998)
ISBN:0-671-57841-3, $7.99
Paperback (December 1999)
Brun Meager and Esmay Suiza were born to be friends--they're both
bright,
brave, and lucky. But when they first meet, they fight more than agree. Worse,
Brun takes a casual liking to Barin Serrano, Esmay's first love. The final
explosion sends an angry Brun out looking for trouble, and almost ends Esmay's
career.
Brun finds more trouble than she can possibly handle, and her capture by a
militant religious militia group threatens to start a war and bring down the
government. Brun's father blames Esmay for sending Brun into danger. He doesn't
want Esmay anywhere near the rescue attempt--but Esmay is the one person who
really understands Brun's way of thinking. Without her, the rescue may go sour.
Meanwhile, Barin Serrano has his hands full with a predatory young officer
who is more than willing to take advantage of Esmay's disgrace and force her way
into the Serrano family through its youngest serving officer--with or without
his consent.

Heldin
wider Willen.
(Bände 5 – 7 : Rules of
Engagement, 1998 / Change of Command, 1999 / Against the Odds, 2000. Die drei
ersten Bände (Hunting Party, 1993, Sporting Chance, 1994, Winning Colors, 1995)
Hauptperson Tai in "The Skies of Pern", sondern nachdenklich machende
